Computer literacy and access to the Internet offer children improved education and better job prospects. As these technologies become more common in the workforce, it's that much more important for children to have experience using computers with Internet access to prepare for a successful future.
Yet, less than half of the children living in underpriviledged communities in this country have an Internet connection, compared to 88% of children in families with incomes above $75,000*.
