Click to Begin became a proud recipient of an education-based grant through the Yahoo! Employee Foundation (YEF). YEF funds projects by nonprofits that address the concerns of Yahoo! employees, such as education & youth, community building & families and environmental issues. These focus areas are determined by a survey conducted on all U.S. Yahoo! employees.
The grant will be used to fund the "Click to Succeed" Program, in which Click to Begin will supply five new laptops to graduating seniors in Bridgeport, CT area high schools.
This donation was made possible by Yahoo! and championed by Maureen Reagan, Manager, Creative Services.

Click to Begin presented five recent graduates from several Bridgeport, CT high schools with brand new laptop computers today as part of its inaugural "Click to Succeed" program. The college-bound students are the first group of students being given computers from Click to Begin. Laptop recipients were asked to complete an application and were chosen based on academic merit, activities and their responses to two essay questions about technology and how it will play a role in their lives down the road. The laptops were donated in the memory of Ana Aponte, who dedicated much of her life to enriching the lives of many children in Bridgeport.
Click to Begin has partnered with Action for Bridgeport Community Development (ABCD, Inc.) to supply five laptops to top graduating high school seniors in Bridgeport, CT. The program, "Click to Succeed", is an award program that will supply qualifying college-bound high school seniors, with laptops to aid them on the road to success.
